An important update from the Home Office regarding those applying for leave to enter or remain on the basis of private and family life.
For those who are employed, any loss of income due to coronavirus will be disregarded. Income earned 6 months prior to 1 March 2020 will be considered to meet the income threshold.
For those who are employed and have been furloughed, 100% salary (before furlough) will be considered to meet the income threshold.
For those who are self-employed, any loss of income between 1 March and 31 July 2020 will generally be disregarded.
